Yesterday afternoon I did a quick touch up coat on the interiors of the calipers. I was mainly concerned with the "mistake" caliper as some of the lacquer thinner had worked its way onto the interior surfaces.
The "mistake" caliper is successfully corrected and now glossy black!
Today after work my friends Jessica and Jake stopped by and got to take a look at KITT. We all agreed "there is a lot of work to be done on him yet!" Jake seemed eager to dive in on the project. I could see the gleam of excitement in his eyes. Jessica just wants to hear KITT talk. ;)
After they left I took the masking tape off of the calipers and took a couple of pictures to show how they turned out.
My plan for this weekend is to work on sound deadening the passenger area floor pans.
